Pantglas Project in Wales
Pantglas villas project is running by Maxhard Ltd. The site is approximately 9.1 hectares (22.5 acres) and is adjacent to an established development of 26 timeshare log cabins, a restaurant and leisure centre (within the original mews block of Pantglas Hall), a self-contained indoor heated swimming pool and all-weather tennis courts. It is currently underdeveloped and partially wooded. It forms part of an estate which extends in total to around 17.8 hectares (44 acres) within a wooded valley in Carmarthenshire, South-West Wales. The site is located around 1.5 miles south-west of Llanfynydd town centre. Access to the site is from the east side of the B4297, adjacent to the North Lodge and then along a private road extending to the southern extremity of the land. Llanfynydd is close to the western edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park, the National Botanic Garden of Wales (11 miles) and Aberglasney Gardens (5 miles). Maxhard Ltd proposed to develop about 80 new residential holiday homes and a facility centre; comprising conference room, a restaurant, a spa and a swimming pool. The Pantglas tower development to be built over 4 year rolling programme slit into 3 phases. Phase 1 includes units located to North West of the tower and South East of the pond, the infrastructure for the future phases, including access roads, drainage and services.
